School begins Tuesday, January 13th!!

I will be attending classes Tuesday & Thursdays

from 8 am - 11 am in Huntsville.

From there I will go to work to finish up a longggg day!

A Night of Sailing!

This past weekend my friends and I celebrated a birthday by taking a

sailboat out of Kemah and into Galveston Bay. It was an enjoyable

experience and the captains/owners of the boat we're great as well.

What a Success!!

The Light the Night walk for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was this past Sunday @ Market Street in The Woodlands. Although Team Puntie didn't reach it's original goal of $1500, we still came in strong with over $850!! The walk was a huge success with over 100 teams raising hundreds of dollars to tens of thousands of dollars! Our team is already pumped up about next years fundraising and walk!

Y-IKES!

Here are some photos of Hurricane Ike rolling in and some damage on the North Side of Houston in Spring. This is nothing compared to those closer to the coast! I must say we are EXTREMELY lucky, eventhough we are still without power! I came back to work Wednesday after the storm, and still have not returned to school. School is scheduled to start back up on Monday the 22nd, but we'll see how the power situation is by then. My apt. isn't scheduled to have power until sometime after the 22nd! To all of you affected by the storm God Bless!

Team Puntie Needs Your Help!

On October 26, 2008 myself along with Team Puntie will be walking in the Light The Night benefiting Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We will be raising money and walking in honor of Deborah Graham Groda who was diagnosed with leukemia in 2000. After a brave 8 year battle she was sent to the Lord on May 7, 2008.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society funds lifesaving cancer research that has contributed to major advances in the treatment of blood cancers and many other types of cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy and stem cell transplants, that have helped patients live better, longer lives.
