Trip to Shreveport

Two friends and myself took a road trip to Shreveport, LA this past weekend. We went because another friend's father had passed away and she was left responsible to handle a lot of stuff on her own. I wish there was more we could have done! Here are some pics of the killing time wandering around Shreveport portion of the trip....

Tex Mex 2009

This past weekend March 20th - 22nd Dalton and I along with some friends went to Lake Somerville for the 2009 Tex Mex Truck Show. Dalton had just gotten his truck back 3 days prior after it being in the shop for 2 years. It still needs alot of love, but it is his baby and he is very proud of it. Paws for Pancreatic Cancer!

This is probably the event that I am most excited for this year! My grandpa passed away from pancreatic in June 2006, and ever since I have been wanting to dedicate more of my time to organizations associated with this cancer. Well it wasn't until now that I have found anything in the Houston area that supports pancreatic cancer. With that being said please join me and Chevy in honoring all of those people and their families that have suffered or are currently suffering from the disease.
